In a previous article we talked about the different Iphone, Ipod and Ipad applications available to help you deal with your hearing health condition. In this article we will list some of the many Android applications on the market, that will not only help with hearing loss but also help prevent noise-induced hearing damage.

Here they are:

Super hearing: It increases the volume on your phone. Price: $0.99
Volume+: Another app that increased the volume of your phone. I noticed it has a 4 out of 5 customer rating, so that must be a good sign. Price: $1.62
(BTW there’s also a free version of this app, that goes up to level 8 in volume increase)
Visual Ringer: Now this one is just cool, it flashes the light of your phone when the phone is ringing, in case you’re in a very noisy environment and you don’t notice the phone ring. Price: $0.99
Test your hearing: This one is free, and it helps with testing your hearing.

T2 – Hearing Adjuster: This app allows the user to adjust Starkey manufactured hearing devices. Price: $9.99, with 50% going to the Starkey Hearing Foundation.

These are only a few of the many different applications available on the market. It is important to remember that these applications cannot replace visiting an audiologist, who will provide you with the correct treatment and diagnosis of your hearing loss.
