Billy Idol: Controversial Punk Star and Hearing Loss Ambassador

New Generation Miami Hearing Center is pleased to announce Billy Idol as the hearing loss ambassador of the week. He was born on November 30, 1955 as William Michael Albert Broad in England and has been part of the music industry for the last 30 years of his life.

Some of his hits include “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Flesh for Fantasy” which transformed him into a famous musician at the end of the 80s. Through his tumultuous career, he has entertained generations of fans; his most recent feat, a tour in 2008 going through the USA and Europe.

Billy Idol is now also part of the Hear the World Campaign using his well-known status to help bring awareness about important matters dealing with our hearing health , such as hearing damage and loss of hearing.
